About Upulwehera Archaeological Site
This site is located at the base of the Kahalla mountain. The most interesting thing here is there is a big forest which contains Na trees very much similar to nearby Jathika Namal Uyana.According to folklore, the two daughters of king Kashyapa I, namely Bodhi and Uthpala were become monks and stayed here.
