About Natabun Chaithya Viharaya
This place is situated by the Colombo - Batticaloa highway, just before 4 kilometers from Pottuvil. The stupa was conserved very recently by The Department of Archaeology. It was built upon an elevated platform where the platform entirely built with large granite slabs. According to conservation reports this stupa was dated to 4 - 6 centuries A.D. There should be much more ruins scattered in the area.
