About Deegavapi Maha Stupa
Degavapiya is an one of the sacred land for Buddhist. As Buddhist we believe Lord Buddha had come to this land once Lord Buddha came to SriLanka for the third time. And this land become a sacred land. There are lot of ruins that shows this land was a great Buddhist temple though now they limit to ruins.
