About Anuradhapura Moonstone
One of the best preserved and richest with ancient craftsmanship Moon Stone in Anuradhapura era. Placed in front of a monastic residence. It�s believed that moon stone depicts life cycle and four eternal truths of Buddhism . Some people believed this place is the Palace of great King Mahasena but the structure is more towards clergy and it�s hard to believe such a mighty King ever lived a place like this.
