About Upper Nalagana Falls
This amazingly beautiful waterfall is located on the Bulathkohupitiya-Dedugala (B67) road in a tranquil nature reserve which also accommodates the Kalupahana hydropower plant, the ruined remains of a 1948 hydropower plant and also a natural rock pool downstream for safe bathing. This attractive fall is around 40 meters in height and springs from the Ritigaha Oya stream. A must-visit and a photo-worthy stop if you are travelling in the Kegalle district of the Sabaragamuwa province in Sri Lanka.
