About Ridi Viharaya
One of the ancient places you must see when you are in Kurunegala District. Ridivihara was built in the 2nd century BC during the reign of King Dutugamunu. According to the chronicles of Mahawamsa and Thupawamsa the Ridivihara was built in gratitude for supplying the Silver needed for the construction of the Ruwnwelisaya.
