Thambadola Ella is a natural waterfall with a natural water pool located in the Kalutara District. Another name for the same waterfall is Rideevita Ella. Just a lovely area in Colombo, with a modest waterfall of only 3 meters in height yet a pleasant and tranquil atmosphere surrounded by natural beauty. The water is pure and fresh. It is a tropical rainforest ecosystem with fresh water. There are some breathtaking views. In and around the fall, a diverse range of naturally existing flora, as well as indigenous fish and birds.
