About Pahiyangala Ancient Temple - Yatagampitiya
This is huge cave where a chines Buddhist monk who was lived. The location was named from his name. Fa-Hien was his name and later it became Pahiyan + Gala (Gala = rock). However the archaeological significance is there are human fossil was found which was more than 33000 old. If you visit there you can see archaeologist excavating sites.
