About Lakshmi Devalaya
It is the most important temple in Sri Lanka where offerings are made to Goddess Lakshmi, who is believed by Asian people to be the lord of wealth. This shrine is very beautifully built. Located near the Kataragama Sacred City. Built with the beauty of the natural environment. Here people sacrifice a lot of their wealth to God. Alms giving to breastfeeding mothers also takes place here.
