About Botanical Garden - Badulla
This botanical garden is located in the eastern side of Badulla city. It is governed by Badulla Municipal Council and not considered as one of the main Botanical Gardens in Sri Lanka. Specialty of this place is the Cemetery of Badulla is located adjacent to it. There are several trees with age expanding more than 100 years in the garden. The one planted for the Golden Jubilee of King George VI has become a huge tree now. Corresponding information was mentioned on the cement slab below it.
